A team is any two or more people. Seattle Swim 2011 had 35 teams, and we are planning on over 50 this year. Teams are a wonderful way to have common goal with family, friends, or co-workers. Many company and school teams participate, as well as family or friends wanting to swim for a special person.
Teams can train together, get together, raise funds together, or simply meet up on race day.
Team captains simply register their team here at this link. Then anyone who registers can register for a team. We will be in touch, because we love to publish team photos and short team stories of why you all swim. It’s that simple!
It’s up to you. Think you will have trouble recruiting a few friends or colleagues?
- Step 1: Grab a few folks in the “I don’t think I can quite do it” camp.
- Step 2: Show them the SwimAcrossAmerica 25th Anniversary video.
- Step 3: In 4 minutes, you have your team.
Send any team members you want to register and join your team here.
See you in the water.
